In order to install /ads.txt manually, you'll need access to your site's root directory via a cPanel or FTP.

For Wordpress sites, please see these instructions.
For Squarespace sites, please see these instructions.
For Blogger sites, please see these instructions.

For CMS's that do offer access to the root directory, please follow the below instructions to install Ads.txt. This file will need to be updated periodically, so anytime you see your Ads.txt health check yellow or red, you should follow these instructions.

  1. Download the latest version of your ads.txt file from the Settings > Ad Setup tab in your dashboard.

  2. Using an FTP client or cPanel, connect to your web host.

  3. Upload the ads.txt file to the root directory of your website (usually called public_html or www).

  4. Clear any active cache.

  5. Visit <website>/ads.txt to ensure the file uploaded successfully.

You can check your ADS.TXT file's accuracy in your Mediavine Dashboard by looking at your Site Health Check.
