Mediavine places the utmost importance on ad quality, and our Ad Reporter helps us track down any ad that doesn't follow our strict quality guidelines.

All video ads should play in mute mode, but occasionally some can sneak through with sound. The process for reporting video ads is very simple, but it varies slightly depending on which player you're using.

How to Report Universal Video Player Ad

  1. Click on the Mediavine logo in the corner of the ad

  2. Click Report Ad

  3. Fill out the form that pops up

  • Please include a reason for the report

  • Click “I’m a publisher at Mediavine”

How to Report an Embedded Video Ad

For your embedded videos, the process is the same, but the location of the reporter button is slightly different. If you are looking at the small sticky video, you will need to scroll to where the video is embedded in the post and report it from there.

  1. Click on the Mediavine logo in the bottom left corner

  2. Click Report Ad

  3. Fill out the form that pops up

    • Please include a reason for the report

    • Click “I’m a publisher at Mediavine”

If an in-content video ad is playing sound, you can report it via the Mediavine logo in the bottom right-hand corner.

Please reach out to publishers@mediavine.com with any questions!
