Mediavine Direct is our custom platform that is exclusive to Mediavine that allows our publishers to sell banner ad space on their websites.

Currently, this product is in beta - meaning testing phase. If you run into any issues while using it, please let us know by emailing publishers@mediavine.com.

How does it work?

Mediavine Direct allows brands to buy into your site inventory, but still participate in your ad auction on the ad spaces a publisher already has with us.

Simply visit a site's vanity URL outfitted with their unique Mediavine Site ID, such as https://sales.mediavine.com/bluebonnet-baker/

Or you can buy ads programmatically (based on demographics) across all of our sites through this link:
https://sales.mediavine.com/

What does the brand need to do?

From there, you'll be able to pick all the details of the campaign you want to create, such as the length of the campaign, the target audience and your budget. Enter a credit card number, and we’ll collect payment.

What’s the minimum buy-in?

Our minimum budget is $100.

Pricing is currently automatically set for each individual site based on its performance. This is to make sure the ads are priced competitively enough to make sure they "deliver in full." To see the CPMs set for a specific site, go through the initial part of the checkout. Choosing more expensive creatives will apply a "multiplier" to that base rate.

Show me how it works.

From a site's Mediavine Direct page, click on Get Started, and you'll begin your campaign right away. It's super easy!

The next page is where you begin setting up your New Campaign. Fill in your contact information, then click Next.

On the Creatives page, you'll see the CPMs for your campaign.

Select the ad sizes you'd like to advertise with and upload your ad artwork. Ads must be designed in the following sizes, but you can upload as many creatives as you'd like:

  • 300 x 250 pixels

  • 300 x 600 pixels

  • 320 x 50 pixels

  • 728 x 90 pixels

Files should be JPG or PNG format. Resolution must be 72 ppi.

Choose your file(s). You can either drag and drop your image into the uploader or you can click to select from your computer.

The Hyperlink field should include the full URL of the website or landing page that you'd like the user to visit. For example, an advertiser like Netflix might choose https://www.netflix.com/signup if they were advertising a deal for joining their service.

Upload artwork for any other ad sizes you'd like to buy, then click Continue.

On the next page, Flight Dates, choose the dates for your campaign and your budget. The minimum is $100.

Then you can click Continue to go to the Checkout page. Enter your credit card number and expiration date and then Authorize.

You're all done! You will get a receipt via email. The numbers will automatically adjust based on the size of the ad, the date range, etc.

Before the campaign goes live, the website owner will get a chance to review the campaign.

If you have any questions about the website you are advertising with, please reach out to the site owner. If you have questions related to Mediavine Direct, please email publishers@mediavine.com, and we'd be happy to help.
