Testing your ad placements is very easy, but it does require a little bit of code to make sure you are seeing an accurate representation of the available placements on your site.
How to test your ad placements for accuracy
Use an INCOGNITO window
Append the code below to the end of the URL you are testing:
?test=houseads
That's it! When you use those two tools in combination with each other you can ensure you are seeing all of the available placements on your site and can check to make sure your posts are getting enough ads, and that they are all appearing as expected.
Why do I have to use a code to make them display for testing?
Our ads are programmatic, which means that ad placements depend on an auction, and someone winning that auction in order for an ad to display. As site owners, we are on our sites much more than the average reader, so sometimes we "use up" our premium impressions before we are actually done looking at the site.
