Skylight displays tall display ads "behind" your content on mobile devices. As your reader scrolls, the ad box acts as a window looking in at the ad creating a parallax effect.
The parallax effect allows larger ad sizes than would normally be available on mobile screens. Advertisers love them, and they fetch a higher CPM than traditional mobile in content ads. That translates to more money in your pocket!
Is Skylight a separate ad unit?
Nope! Skylight allows larger in-content ads to be displayed on mobile screens, and the revenue will be reported with your in-content ad earnings.
Will every ad perform this way?
The Skylight effect will only be available on every other ad slot, but it will also be limited by which advertiser wins the auction. If a taller ad doesn't win out, then a regular mobile in-content ad will display. Ads not being targeted for Skylight will behave according to your other settings (such as InView).
