We are proud to announce that as of Aug. 1, 2018, Mediavine payments are now more flexible than ever before! 

In order to continue receiving payment from Mediavine, including the September 2018 payment (for income earned in June 2018), you will need to finalize a simple registration process and select how you would like to receive Mediavine payments from now on. 

For the fastest payment, please update your payment details before September 1, 2018.

1. Log into the Mediavine dashboard. 

You will be prompted to fill out new Mediavine payment details.

(If you have already completed the setup process and would like to access or update previous settings, you can simply click the Payments tab in the top right corner of your dashboard.) 

2. Select a site. 

If you have multiple sites with Mediavine, select the one you would like to update first. If you only have one site with Mediavine, you will skip this screen automatically. 

3. Set up a payment profile. 

Payment profiles make it easy to reuse a payment method for more than one site. We suggest naming each individual profile something unique, like your site or company name. Click Save profile to move onto the next step.

4. Add your contact details. 

It may be helpful to have your bank documents with you at this stage, as these details must match your bank records. You will need to enter the following: 

  • Type: Individual or Company — choose the option that matches how you file your taxes
  • Email address
  • Phone number
  • First name
  • Middle name 
  • Last name 
  • Company
  • Address
  • City
  • ZIP 
  • Country
  • State (if United States is selected for the Country)  

5. Select your payment method and add your bank account information. 

You will be able choose from any of the following payment methods: 

  • PayPal
  • Domestic ACH
  • International ACH
  • U.S. wire transfer
  • International wire transfer
  • Paper check

6. Select your tax form. 

Next you will be prompted to fill out a tax form based on your country of residency. You can toggle between the U.S. Person and Non-U.S. Person tabs. 

If you need help with the forms, please consult with a qualified tax adviser or attorney to receive advice for your particular needs.

United States
If you are a U.S. person (see definitions on the IRS site) select the "U.S. Person" tab to electronically submit the W-9 form.

NOTE: Street number is the house number, and Street is the name of the street. For example, if your address is 123 Main Street, 123 would be the street number and Main Street would be the street. (We are aware of a bug that puts the street number after the street name if you edit your W9. Don’t worry — your information IS stored correctly.) 


Non-U.S.

If you are not a U.S. Person (see definitions on the IRS site), select the Non-U.S. Person tab. You will fill out a form certifying that you do not conduct business activities in the United States. 

If you do not fall under the above mentioned definitions, consult the IRS site for clarifications, and contact Mediavine support at payments@mediavine.com for instructions on submitting other IRS forms. 

8. Click next!
