# What does it take to get approved by Mediavine?

## Wondering if your site qualifies for Mediavine? See the traffic, revenue, and content standards we look for before you apply.

**Why does Mediavine review sites?**Our quality standards protect our publishers, advertisers, and the overall health of the web. That's what lets us deliver access to premium demand and stronger, more consistent RPMs over the long run.

**What is Mediavine looking for in an application?**

- **Original, audience-first content** — Content built for real users, not just search engines or ad revenue.
- **Clean, human, brand-safe traffic** — Real visitors, not bots, incentivized clicks, or traffic from sources that put advertisers at risk.
- **Good standing with Google AdSense/Ad Exchange** — No active policy violations or account issues with Google.
- **A reader experience that supports premium ads** — Site design and UX that gives ads room to perform without disrupting the reader.

**Is there a minimum traffic or revenue requirement?**Yes. To start with **Journey by Mediavine**, sites need over 1,000 sessions. To start with **Mediavine Official**, sites need $5,000+ in annual ad revenue.

**What other data points does Mediavine evaluate beyond the basics?**Alongside content and traffic quality, we also look at:
