Verify your site with Sertify

In support of our continued efforts to drive equity in programmatic advertising, Mediavine has partnered with Sertify to help publishers achieve official accreditation.

If you are opted into Uplift and have self-identified as one or more of the available options, you can now also take additional steps with Sertify to verify your business. The goal is to help to remove barriers that limit publishers’ opportunity to benefit from equity advertising budgets. This service is available at no cost to you, as a publisher.

Here’s how to Sertify your business

1. Enable Uplift Mediavine in your Mediavine Dashboard.

2. Be sure that you have completed the About You section, and have selected one of the available options as it pertains to you and your business.

3. Navigate to Mediavine X Sertify and create your account by clicking on the Get Sertify button located at the bottom and top right of the page.

4. Then you’ll need to confirm your Ownership, Identity, and Application.

Applying to have your business ‘Sertified’ takes just a few minutes, and status will be determined within a few days. Sertify will email you with additional details and approval status.

Once approved your Mediavine dashboard(s) will display a Sertify banner located at the top. Please allow a few days for your dashboard(s) to display the Sertify status banner.

If you have been approved and the banner does not appear, please contact publishers@mediavine.com for assistance.

FAQ

Is the information I share with Sertify shared with Mediavine?

No, the documents and information shared with Sertify are not shared with Mediavine. We only receive confirmation that a business has been "Sertified" successfully.

Do I need to opt into Uplift to complete the Sertify process?

Yes! You will need to fill out and complete the Uplift section in the Dashboard to apply for accreditation through Sertify.

What If I have already enabled Uplift?

If you'd previously enabled Uplift within your Dashboard, you'll just want to ensure everything is filled out and accurate. If so, navigate to the Sertify enrollment page.

Will this increase my revenue or RPM?

Ad spend depends on what campaigns are running, how advertisers target your site, and more, we cannot predict or guarantee any form of increase. The Sertification process can, however, increase earning potential. Many brands have budgets specifically allocated for spend on sites and audiences that are verified in these various categories.

Will I need to recertify?

You will need to recertify for accreditation each year. This process will be handled by Sertify and they will notify you via email to complete the recertification process when needed.

What if I need to make changes to the information I submitted to my application?

Any changes needed to the information submitted during your application process will need to be processed through the Sertify team. Please reach out to them to perform any changes to the submitted information.

How long does this process take?

The application process should take just a few minutes to complete. You can expect the Sertify process to take several days. Approval status will be sent to you via the email you provided during your Sertify account creation.

Is this certification available for publishers anywhere in the world?

At this time, Sertify is for our US-based publishers.
