How to set up 2-Factor Authentication for your Mediavine dashboard
Enable 2FA for added security
2-Factor Authentication and your Mediavine Dashboard
To help increase the security of your dashboard, we encourage enabling two-factor authentication for our publishers!
In just a few easy steps, you can get two-factor authentication set up for your MV Dashboard. Once it’s set up, you’ll just need to enter your security token as a second step when you log in.
How to Enable Two-Factor Authentication
-
Head to the login page for your dashboard. Once you’re logged in, click on your name in the lower left corner:
-
And then click Account:
-
Scroll down to the section labeled Two-Factor Authentication, and click "Enable 2FA"
-
Next, you’ll enter your country code (if applicable) and cell phone number, then hit Enable:
-
You will immediately be prompted to enter in the code that was just sent to your device at the number provided:
-
Now each time you're prompted to log into the dashboard, a one-time passcode will be sent via text and you can enter that passcode to gain secure access:
If you have any questions at all or if you have any problems logging in, please reach out to publishers@mediavine.com.
